This site was designed to serve as an outlet to communicate to those with bipolar disorder and to serve as a window into the lives of people afflicted with bipolar disorder. At www.FranklyBipolar.com we have started a group to end the stigma associated with bipolar disorder and addiction and to raise awareness about these issues. We also want to find a cure, and with your help we can make strides towards that goal! Remember, we know more about the moon than we know about the brain, so the sooner we get started the better!

Flipping The Script

This forum was made, in part, to be used as a tool for those with bipolar illness to get together and change the general population’s view of this illness. People today flippantly throw around the phrase "He or she must be bipolar" with little regard or understanding of the gravity of the illness. When celebrities have melt downs on national television, many people are not aware that most of these people were, and still are, suffering from grave mental illnesses. This website and The Forum is the perfect place to raise awareness as to the seriousness of this disease. The stigma with mental illness has been around far too long, now we can do something about it. WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU AND GET YOUR IDEAS ON HOW TO GET PEOPLE ON BOARD TO RAISE BIPOLAR AWARENESS.
